How to make Green Sauce Pasta……….
Green Pasta is very popular form of pasta recipe. The green sauce is very nutritious and made with green basil, parsley .You can also add green vegetables of your choice.Pasta is available in many different shapes like fusili pasta; penne pasta etc you can choose any shape and cook it with your favorite ingredients. This is the incredibly easy and always popular pasta recipe. It is available in both forms veg pasta and Nonveg pasta. Here I am showing you the steps of making green sauce pasta.
Ingredients for making pasta:-
Green Sauce ingredients
- Fresh basil (ताजा तुलसी) 2 tablespoons
- Parsley (अजमोद) 4 tablespoons, chopped
- Butter softened 1/4 cup
- Cream cheese 1 package
- Parmesan cheese 1/3 cup, grated
- Olive oil (जैतून का तेल) 1/4 cup
- Garlic clove (लहसुन) 1 minced
- Pepper (काली मिर्च) 1/2 teaspoon
- Water 2/3 cup boiling
- Broccoli 11-12 bite size florets
- Capsicum (शिमला मिर्च) 1 medium size
- French beans (optional) 4-5
- Cheese 100 grams
- Penne/macaroni 1 cup
- Pepper 1 pinch
- Salt to taste
- Olive oil 1 tbsp
Step 1: Take a deep pan add water with 1 tbs of olive oil. Amount of water totally depends upon how much pasta you are cooking. To add flavor and reduce stickiness, add salt according to your taste in the boiling water.
Step 2: Add pasta and stir occasionally during cooking. If pasta is to be used in a dish that requires further cooking, than under cook the pasta by 1/3 of the cooking time mention on the package.
Step 3: To check if it is boiled or not taste the pasta. Perfectly cooked pasta should be firm to bite. Drain pasta immediately and put it into the cold water for few minutes and then again drain.
Step 1: Take pan melt butter into it then add garlic, basil and parsley and cook for 1 minute. Turn off the flame and add cream cheese, olive oil, parmesan cheese and pepper to it and blend well.
Step 2: Take another pan and boil some water in it than pour sauce into it with continuous stirring. Simmer for approximately 5 minutes. The green sauce tends to separate, so keep stirring.
Take all the vegetables and chop them into small pieces.
Take a frying pan heat it with olive oil; add broccoli, capsicum, French beans and cook for few minutes at high flame by continuously stirring. Do not overcook.
Add fried vegetables and cooked pasta to the prepared green sauce, Add salt, pepper, toss it well, and garnish with grated cheese. Your delicious green pasta is ready to eat…!
