How to make Hakka Noodles
Hakka noodles are the most likable Chinese dish in Indo Chinese cuisine. It is basically served in main course. Hakka noodles are very easy to cook and have delicious taste. It is made by Chinese noodles, by adding lots of vegetables and spices. Here I am showing you the steps of making hakka noodles. This is a very popular noodle recipe. Noodles are available in both forms hakka noodles and Nonhakka noodles.
Hakka Noodles Ingredients:
- Chinese noodles 1 packet (100 grams)
- Chopped garlic(लहसुन) 2 tbsp
- Spring onions (हरा प्याज) 1/4 cup finely chopped
- Onion slices (प्याज) 1 big size
- Cabbage(गोभी) 1/2 cup thinly sliced
- Carrot (गाजर) 1/2 cup
- Capsicum (शिमला मिर्च) 1/2 cup
- Red paprika (लाल शिमला मिर्च ) 1/2 cup
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Soya sauce 2 tsp
- Chili sauce 1/2 tsp (or to taste)
- Black Pepper powder(काली मिर्च पाउडर) to taste
- Salt to taste
Take a deep pan and add water to it, as water brings to boil add 1 tsp of oil and 1/2 tsp of salt.
Add noodles to the boiling water. Stir it in between to prevent the noodles from sticking. Do not over cook the noodles. Check the noodles by tasting. It should be firm but not hard.
Drain the warm water from the noodles by strainer and run cold water over it to avoid sticking together.
Method of making hakka noodles
Take a pan, heat with oil and add spring onions, Onions, garlic and red chili powder and cook at high flame for a minute. Add vegetables i.e. carrots, cabbage, capsicum, red paprika and cook for 2 minutes.
Then add soya sauce and chili sauce to it and mix well.
Finally add the cooked noodles, salt and black pepper cook for 2 minutes. Toss it well so that the noodles get coated with sauces and turn off the flame.
Serve with style….
Garnish it with green spring onions and serve with tomato sauce.
