How to make Red Sauce Pasta……….
Pasta is an Italian food. It is very famous to be taken in breakfast, main course or as snacks. It is also nutritious and healthy food if cooked with right ingredients. Pasta is available in many different shapes like fusili pasta; penne pasta etc you can choose any shape and cook it with your favorite ingredients. This is the incredibly easy and always popular pasta recipe. It is available in both forms veg pasta and Nonveg pasta. Here I am showing you the steps of making red sauce pasta.
Ingredients for making pasta:-
Red Sauce ingredients
- Ripe tomatoes(पके टमाटर) 4-5
- Onion (प्याज़) 1 finely chopped
- Garlic 2 tbsp minced
- Olive oil (जैतून का तेल)1 1/2 tbsp
- Salt and black pepper powder to taste
- Tomato Ketchup – 2 tbsp
- Oregano powder -1/2 tsp
- Onions (प्याज़) ½ cup chopped
- Oregano powder 1 teaspoon
- Garlic (लहसुन) 2 pieces minced
- Broccoli – 11-12 bite size florets
- Capsicum (शिमला मिर्च) 1 medium size
- Red chili flakes (लाल मिर्च) 1/2 tea spoon
- Cheese 100 grams
- Mushroom 7-8 pieces (optional)
- Penni/macroni 1 cup
- Pepper 1 pinch
- Salt to taste
- Water 2 ½ cup
- Olive oil 1 tbsp
Step 1: Take a deep pan add water with 1 tbs of olive oil. Amount of water totally depends upon how much pasta you are cooking. To add flavor and reduce stickiness, add salt according to your taste in the boiling water.
Step 2: Add pasta and stir occasionally during cooking. If pasta is to be used in a dish that requires further cooking, than under cook the pasta by 1/3 of the cooking time mention on the package.
Step 3: To check if it is boiled or not taste the pasta. Perfectly cooked pasta should be firm to bite. Drain pasta immediately and put it into the cold water for few minutes and then again drain.
Step 1: Take a pan pour water into it and let it boil than add tomatoes and keep it closed for 5 minutes then remove the skin and blend it to make puree.
Step 2: Heat a pan with oil, fry garlic and onion till they become soft. Add tomato puree, tomato ketchup and cook until the sauce is boiling, then low the heat and simmer 10 minutes.
Step 3: Then add oregano, salt and pepper powder and turn off the flame.
Take all the vegetables and chop them into small pieces.
Take a frying pan heat it with olive oil; add finely chopped onion and garlic and fry till onions become light pink. Then add broccoli, capsicum, and cook for a few minutes at high flame by continuously stirring. Do not overcook.
Add fried vegetables and cooked pasta to the prepared red sauce, Add salt, pepper, red chili flakes, toss it well, and garnish with grated cheese. Your delicious red pasta is ready to eat…!
