How to make Rice salad………
Rice salad is a very tasty and delicious dish. It has very good textures and flavors combined together. It can be served as main course. In every bite you will have different taste of sweet or sour. It is also a healthy dish because here we are using brown rice which is mixed with vegetables. I am showing you the steps of making Rice salad. This is incredibly easy and quick recipe. Salads can be made in both forms Veg salad and Nonveg salad.
Ingredients for making Rice salad recipe:-
- Brown rice 2½ cups
- Limes 1 ½
- Extra virgin olive oil ¼ cup
- Pomegranate(अनार) 1
- Currants 1 cup
- Cranberries(जमाया) ¾ cup dried
- Pistachio kernels(पिस्ता) ⅔ cup roughly chopped
- Almond slivers(बादाम) ½ cup
- Coriander(हरा धनिया) 1 small bunch chopped
Method of making Rice salad:-
First cook the brown rice and set to cool.
Take a frying pan add pistachios and almonds, cook 4-5 minutes till they turn brown.
To form a dressing take a small bowl combine the zest and add lime juice, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper.
Pour the dressing to the cooked rice and mix well. Add the remaining ingredients to the rice and toss well.
Serve with style……..!
Rice salad is ready to serve. Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves.
