How to make Veg Burger………
Burger is a very appetizing dish. People use to eat burger at anytime of the day. You don’t require fork or knife to eat burger it is so handy that you can eat it by running on the street. Veg burger is a very quick recipe to make with vegetables and patties. This is the incredibly easy and always popular burger recipe. Burgers can be made in both forms veg burger and Nonveg burger. Here I am showing you the steps of making veg burger.
Ingredients for making veg burger :-
Vegetable patty ingredients
- Carrots (गाजर)½ cup
- French beans ½ cup
- Cauliflower (फूलगोभी) 1 cup
- Potatoes(आलू) 4 boiled
- Bread slices 2
- Green chili paste (हरी मिर्च) 1 tsp
- Ginger ((अदरक)) paste 1 tsp
- Lemon juice (नींबू का रस) 2 tsp
- Garam masala2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Dried bread crumbs for rolling 1/4 cup
- Oil for greasing and cooking
- Bread buns 6 (depends on number of people)
- Butter 5-6 cubes
- Tomato(टमाटर) 2 slices
- Onion(प्याज ) 1 slice
Method of making burger patty:-
Take all the vegetables cut them into small pieces and boil them till they get soft. Use potato smasher and smash vegetables with boiled potatoes.
Take 2 bread slices dip in water for a few seconds then squeeze out all the water and crumble the bread.
Take a big bowl add vegetable mix, crumbled bread and all ingredients. Mix all the things together. Divide the mixture into small portions and make flat patty of each.
Evenly coat the patty into bread crumbs from both the sides. Take a frying pan heat it with little oil. Put the patties and cook on a medium flame, using a little oil, till they turn golden brown in color from both the sides. Keep aside.
Method of making veg burger
Cut each burger bun horizontally into two. Apply butter on both the sides of each piece and toast them lightly on a tava (griddle).
Take a plate and place the lower half of the bun spread 1 tbsp of tomato ketchup evenly over it.
Then start placing with iceberg lettuce leaf at the bottom then adds 1 patty, tomato slices and onion slice. Also apply a layer of mayonnaise with sprinkling a little salt and pepper over it. Put another half of the bun and press slightly.
Serve with style….!
