How to make Veg Noodles
Noodles are taken in meals all around the world. It is basically a Chinese dish which is loved by everybody. Noodles are very easy to cook and have delicious taste. Veg noodles are made by Chinese noodles, which are of plain flour and by adding lots of vegetables of your choice. Having vegetables make it healthy and you can also use wheat flour noodles to make it healthier. Here I am showing you the steps of making veg noodles. This is a very popular noodle recipe. Noodles are available in both forms veg noodles and Nonveg noodles.
Veg Noodles Ingredients:
- Chinese noodles 1 packet (100 grams)
- Chopped garlic(लहसुन) 2 tbsp
- Onion slices (प्याज) 1 big size
- Cabbage(गोभी) 1/2 cup thinly sliced
- Carrot (गाजर) 1/2 cup
- Capsicum (शिमला मिर्च) 1/2 cup
- Green chilly (हरी मिर्च) 2-4
- Red paprika (लाल शिमला मिर्च ) 1/2 cup
- Oil 2 1/2 tbsp
- Soya sauce 2 tsp
- Chilli sauce 1/2 tsp (or to taste)
- Black Pepper powder(काली मिर्च पाउडर) to taste
- Salt to taste
Cooking Veg Noodles:
Take a deep pan and add water to it, as water brings to boil add 1 tsp of oil and 1/2 tsp of salt.
Add noodles to the boiling water. Stir it in between to prevent the noodles from sticking. Do not over cook the noodles. Check the noodles by tasting. It should be firm but not hard.
Drain the warm water from the noodles by strainer and run cold water over it to avoid sticking together.
Method of making veg noodles
Take all the vegetables cabbage, carrot, capsicum, chilly and chop them into thin strips or slices.
Take a pan heat it with oil add chopped garlic and cook it for few seconds than add onion slices and cook it for 1 minute. Then add capsicum, red paprika, cabbage, chilly, carrot and sauté it for 5 minutes at high flame till the aroma of vegetables comes out.
Then add soya sauce and chili sauce to it and mix well.
Finally add the cooked noodles, salt and black pepper. Toss it well so that the noodles get coated with sauces and turn off the flame.
Serve with style….
Garnish it with green spring onions and serve with tomato sauce.
